DFB Grants Exclusive Coverage Rights Across Mena Abu Dhabi Sports Wins Media Rights To The German Cup
16 October 2025DFB GmbH & Co. KG, the commercial arm of the German Football Association, today announced a new license agreement for the audio-visual media rights of the German FA Cup “DFB-Pokal” in the MENA (Middle East and Northern Africa) region with Abu Dhabi Media for three seasons.
Starting with Round 2 of the DFB-Pokal being played on October 28th and 29th, Abu Dhabi Media will broadcast live matches featuring Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund and all other leading German clubs. This agreement grants Abu Dhabi Sports the exclusive rights to showcase all matches of Germany’s prestigious cup competition until 2028, bringing the thrill and unique atmosphere of the DFB-Pokal to football fans across the MENA region.
