“Drama HD” unveils “FOX Crime HD” schedule in August
30 July 2017“Drama HD” of Abu Dhabi TV presented its schedules of programs to be broadcast in cooperation with “FOX Crime HD” this coming August. The schedule includes a collection of the most popular crime and detective series and movies in the world.
The channel will start broadcasting Detective McLean Ties That Bind series as of 6 August. The series revolves around Allison McLean; a tough and experienced police detective who has to arrest her young brother Tim in cooperation with her police partner for aggravated assault. Her world drastically changes when he got convicted and sent to prison; leaving her to take in his two teenagers into her home to care for them. The channel will also broadcast The Blacklist Season II as of 9 August while continue to air Low Winter Sun and King which have started in July.
The channel will start to air Jo TV series as of 20 August. The series tells the story of the adventures of a brilliant detective in Paris Police while chasing killers and criminals and investigating crimes at popular sites such as Notre Dam and Eiffel Tower in addition to his personal suffering and problems such as communication with his expatriate daughter. The 27th season of Taggart will secure its place in the schedule as of 30 August. The series revolves around a set of detectives who are trying to find out the perpetrators of murders in Glasgow city of Scotland.
The schedule will also contain a collection of popular movies including Beyond a Reasonable Doubt featuring Michael Douglas, which will be aired on Friday 4 August. The movie tells the story of a writer who is trying to expose a corrupt lawyer. On Friday 11 August, the channel will show At Risk a movie starring Andie McDowell. The movie revolves around a lawyer who tries to solve a mysterious old crime to enhance her political career. Tenderness featuring Russel Crowe will be displayed on the channel on Friday 25 August. The movie revolves around a policeman who wants to find out whether a violent young man has killed his families or not.
Also, the channel will show Arbitrage featuring Richard Gere on Saturday 5 August, The Alphabet Killer featuring Eliza Dushku on Saturday 12 August, The Front starring Daniel Sunjata on Friday 18 August, Married Life starring Pierce Brosnan on Saturday 19 August and Parkland starring Zac Efron on Saturday 26 August.
“FOX Crime HD” airs its content via “Drama HD” in a specific time slot. The TV series are broadcast at 7-9 p.m and rerun at 1-3 a.m Sundays to Thursdays while the movies are displayed on Fridays and Saturdays. “Drama HD” is one of the most important, highest rated and most watched channels for drama series in the region.
